Throughout the summer, Tigris executed a Soleterra d’Italia product sampling at multiple Urban Fare’s across Vancouver. In the span of two months, our team sampled over 800 hours!

The Tigris brand ambassadors promoted the Soleterra d’Italia brand to Urban Fare shoppers by providing samples and educating them on the products’ qualities. At each demonstration, our team would display the meats artfully to attract attention. In addition, each ambassador worked multiple samplings, so they became experts on the brand and their products.

Onsite, a variety of products were sampled. These include Soleterra d’Italia’s sliced prosciutto, sliced Milano salami and sliced Napoli salami. If any of these products ran out, BAs then sampled fixed weight salami or deli’s choice. Therefore, our staff always had ample product to sample.

Shoppers were extremely receptive to the sampling and bought the products on display. Many locations sold out of the sampled products very early on in the program. Therefore, product samplings are an extremely effective marketing tool.
