Guests got a serious sugar rush on Sunday, June 25 at Toronto Life’s first ever Doughnut Festival, in partnership with Dufferin Mall. The afternoon was full of frosted and glazed goodness. We celebrated the city’s top makers of doughnuts, crullers and other sweet, colourful rounds!
Events Staff for the Doughnut Festival
Onsite, our events staff were to educate passersby on Dufferin Mall and the Doughnut Fest. In addition, they promoted the hashtag #DMDoughnutfestival and #Dufferin Mall. They were onsite to assist with any questions and host a “Snap, Share & Win” contest. Guests were able to take a picture with a sign & post with event hashtag for a chance to win a DufferinMall $250.00 gift card.
In addition, guests were given a 6-pack doughnut giveaway. There were fun activities such as a doughnut wall photo booth, and decorate a doughnut for kids under 12. There were even designer doughnuts, Dufferin Mall retailer inspired doughnuts in centre court.
Because our team has worked several promotions for Dufferin Mall they knew the layout well. Therefore it was easy for them to give directions and advise shoppers.
